Broc Rosser wakes up every day excited to find ways to improve his performance and “raise the bar” with whatever role he has been blessed to lead. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director of the Florida Nonprofit Alliance (FNA), which focuses on advocacy, legislative issues, and public policy for the nonprofit industry in Florida. Government relations is a personal passion for Broc, who started his career working for the City of Orlando and Orange County government. In his short time with FNA, he has already increased membership by 400% and worked on several key initiatives for nonprofits, such as the Solicitation of Contributions Act, OMB Circular on Uniform Cost Guidance, and the Florida Charitable Advisory Partnership (FCAP).
In his prior senior leadership role with Heart of Florida United Way as a Director in the Office of the President, Broc was responsible for creating, implementing, and managing a public policy program for their partner agencies. He is quite pleased with the success of a major background screening bill that he worked on with other state leaders on behalf of nonprofits.
Broc also understands statewide operations as he served as the Florida Regional President for CredAbility, a Consumer Credit Counseling Service agency. While the clients served are always the biggest accomplishment, he was also able to lead his team in significantly improving fundraising efforts, conducting extensive media interviews, and forming many collaborative partnerships.
Broc works out of the Orlando area where he also proudly serves as a father to twin girls and is fortunate to call Allison Rosser his wife and soul mate (and is reminded that he married “up” by his own family).
