In December 2014, Gallup recorded an alarming and sudden shift in public opinion. After two decades barely registering in polls about major U.S. problems, “race relations” and “racism” surged to a level not seen since the 1992 L.A. riots. It only takes a glance at a newspaper or television to understand why. How can we leverage our resources, experience, and brainpower to get past simply talking about race to find real solutions?
