What is your sustainability plan? This is a question that perplexes many seasoned nonprofit professionals. We are often not equipped to answer this because we are anchored to business models that are either stale, were never conceived to be sustainable, or they’re entirely ill-suited to be sustainable. Further, the term is used in so many contexts that its meaning has become ‘a water sandwich’. This session will explore options for considering sustainability as a concept and it will explore how leaders can forge a greater understanding about how the intentional choice of model, comfort with innovation, and attention to analytics, are the true drivers of financial stability and ultimately sustainable impact.
